Bembridge Harbour · Isle of Wight
Overlooking Bembridge Harbour, Eleuthera and her sister boat Islay nestle into their surroundings beautifully — providing easy access to everything a family or group holiday could wish for, and some of the most delightful hidden beaches on the south coast.
A stay unlike any other
If you're looking for a unique stay, this is it. Eleuthera and her sister boat Islay rise and fall with the tides, settling gently on the seabed — a rhythm you feel rather than notice. The ever-changing sea and sky create a landscape that can be enjoyed all year round.
Only a short walk from Bembridge village and its beaches, the entrance leads across a walkway to the front door, opening onto the main open-plan living area. Kitchen, banquet dining table and comfortable sitting areas all look out across the harbour.
Sliding folding doors lead onto the viewing deck and flood light into the main room. Downstairs there are four modern bedrooms and two bathrooms — sleeping up to ten, perfect for two families travelling together.
“We especially recommend the rainwater shower with emerald tiles after a cosy night in the master bedroom — and waking up to panoramic views of the harbour and its wildlife.”
Arriving aboard
Access to each boat is via a 5m long, 1m wide gangway — lit at night — from a private deck at street level.
A guest car park sits almost opposite, with designated parking for each houseboat. Regrettably the boat design makes her unsuitable for wheelchair access.
A few booking rules
From the air
Fly the length of the harbour and see exactly where the boats sit — the moorings, the Duver, and the beaches a few minutes' walk from the gangway.
